- Purpose: American trypanosomiasis, also known as Chagas disease, is an infection caused by the parasite T. cruzi. It is often transmitted through a bite from insects known as kissing bugs. This study aims to evaluate LXE408 compared to placebo or benznidazole as a treatment for Chagas disease.
