Dr. Iovine and research coordinators Tiffany Nguyen and Alex Taylor have just activated a clinical trial. Innoviva is a clinical trial to characterize the safety and tolerability of the FDA-approved drug Sulbactam-durlobactam in patients with Acinetobacter baumannii-calcoaceticus complex infections.
This is an observational study in which data will be collected from EPIC from patients who are using Sulbactam-durlobactam as a part of their treatment. The study will not impact the current treatment of participants in the study. The goal is to enroll at least 7 patients over the next three years.
