Dr. Minu Abraham recently presented at the World Association Against Infection in Orthopedics and Trauma (WAOIT) 3rd Congress in Miami, FL. Her presentation, titled “A Common Infection with an Uncommon Organism,” focused on a rare case of a left knee prosthetic joint infection caused by Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, a rare gram-positive rod.
