Join us in congratulating Anthony Cannella, MD, Nancy Seraphin, PhD, Justin May, and Mohammed Khan for taking home awards at the 2016 Department of Medicine, Celebration of Research event.

Dr. Cannella won in the Assistant Professor Translational Science category for his poster “T Cell Subtypes and Reciprocal Inflammatory Mediator Expression Differentiate P. falciparum Memory Recall Responses in Asymptomatic and Symptomatic Malaria in Patients in Southeastern Haiti.”

IDGM Post-doc Nancy Serpahin, PhD, along with  Justin May, and Mohammed Khan won in the Translational science Fellow/Post-Do- category for their poster titled “Whole Genome Sequencing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis for the Investigation of a Tuberculosis OUtbreak Involving Prison and Community Cases in Florida.”
